Active Schools and City of Edinburgh Basketball Club are running 2 Easter Camps this year from Monday 2nd April 2012 to Thursday 5th April 2012.
No previous basketball experience is necessary for the Primary session and all Primary 5 to Primary 7 pupils are welcome.
The High School sessions are aimed at boys and girls who have either been training/playing with their school team or have simply enjoyed basketball in PE and want to take it further - perhaps with a view to playing club basketball in the future. The camp is not aimed at current club players.

This summer sees the launch of the first ever City Hoops Summer Camps. These camps will be run by City of Edinburgh coaches and will be aimed at the 9-16 age groups. We hope as many of our club members as possible will take the opportunity to improve their basketball over the summer holidays and to work with some of the best coaches in the country! The camps are open to all (not just City of Edinburgh Club members), so spread the word amongst all your friends. All profits will be fed back into the club.
There is still time to put your name down for one of the City Hoops Summer Camps. We are delighted to announce the following coaches will be taking part :

- Simon Flockhart - Kings Senior Men and Scotland player and City of Edinburgh Senior Men Lothian League coach
- Craig Reilly - Kings Senior Men and Scotland u23 player
- Benn Gunn - City of Edinburgh Senior Women Coach and Scottish Universities Women Coach
- Lorna Norman - Scotland U18 women head coach
- Darryl Wood - Dunfermline Reign coach.
